The reason SM manipulates forcibly is that no matter how much manipulation and swearing, it is only then and the result is eternal. Even in the 2nd generation, there was a lot of talk about manipulation, but as a result, a record was met. That's why SM doesn't notice and manipulate it like that. The same goes for album sales.
