I'm another fan, but personally, the reason why Red Velvet deserves to be really highly evaluated in terms of artistry is that the symbolic object that implicitly contains the album's concept is novel, and the directing power also plays a part. I thought it was just a cake because it was said to be a birthday, but when Liv was made into a cake and candles were randomly inserted and set on fire, it really feels like putting several knives into Liv and setting it on fire, so it's creepy and unique.
